Owner Sonder Singh moved to the United States escaping the military dictatorship in his native Burma (Myanmar). Sonder opened his first location at the Montavilla Food Hall and decided to expand in 2022, opening his location at the Rockwood Market Hall. Sonder not only crafts the most beautifully delicious sushi but also brings an entire menu of Burmese classics. Sonder is building a legacy for his family and hopes to bring his parents and other family members to the U.S. very soon.
